General
  • For billing and payments: Monday-Friday 7 a.m.-10 p.m. CT, Saturday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. CT
  • For all other calls or to speak to a licensed agent: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. CT
  • Your agent may have different operating hours.
  • If you would like to be removed from paperless documents, you can do so directly on the Customer Portal or by contacting us at 844-788-0873 or at customerservice@msimga.com.
  • After you log in to your account on the Customer Portal, your agent’s information is in the “policy summary” section. It’s also listed on your policy documents.
Policy
  • No, we do not charge a cancellation fee. Our policy premiums are prorated. Any refund resulting from a cancellation will be credited to the last payment method used.
  • Reach out directly to your agent to discuss any coverage or policy changes.
  • We encourage you to work with your insurance agent to process your policy cancellation request or contact an MSI customer service representative at 844-788-0873.
Billing
  • If paying online, you may pay with a credit/debit card or checking account, not a savings account.
  • Payment plans include annual, semi-annual, quarterly, or monthly payments. Always review your actual installment schedule for payment dates and amounts.
  • Yes, you can pay the full amount through the Customer Portal by selecting “pay remaining balance” in the payment screen, or you can pay up to the next three installments.
  • If your payment is approved, it is processed immediately and applied to any outstanding balance. Checking account payments are applied immediately but take 10 to 15 days to settle with the bank.
  • If your payment is late or you miss a payment, you will be notified of your policy’s pending cancellation and cancellation date. If your policy is cancelled, you will need to contact customer service at 844-788-0873 to discuss possible reinstatement of your policy.
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex, and Discover.
  • You may add your checking account as the payment method on your policy if there have been no returned payments. We cannot accept payment through savings accounts.
  • We offer a variety of payment plans, depending on the product/state. Reach out to your agent or our customer service team for more details.
  • You can make a payment in three ways–through the Customer Portal, through your independent agent, or through our customer service team at 844-788-0873.
Claims
  • After submitting your claim, an adjuster will contact you, usually within 2-3 business days.
  • You may check on the status of your claim by contacting our claims administrator at 844-788-0873, or by calling or emailing your assigned adjuster.
